June 14, 2025: A tragic helicopter crash occurred early Sunday morning close to Gaurikund in Uttarakhand, claiming the lives of all seven individuals onboard, together with the pilot. The chopper, operated by Aryan Aviation Pvt Ltd, was en route from Shri Kedarnath Dham to Guptkashi when it went down round 5:20 am.
In accordance with the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Growth Authority (UCADA), the accident occurred in a densely forested space above Gaurikund. Officials consider that poor visibility attributable to dangerous climate probably contributed to the crash.

Inspector Basic of the Garhwal Vary, Rajiv Swaroop, famous that the crash web site was in a distant area, making rescue efforts notably difficult.

The helicopter reportedly caught hearth after crashing between Gaurikund and Trijuginarayan within the Kedarghati space. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his condolences over the incident on social media platform X. “Very unhappy information has been obtained a couple of helicopter crash in Rudraprayag district. SDRF, native administration, and different rescue groups are engaged in reduction and rescue operations,” the CM acknowledged, including that his prayers are with the households of these affected.
